Intro To Sewing — September 3 - October 13

In this 6-week class, students will learn the basics of clothing construction, from threading and using their sewing machines to reading patterns and sewing garments from start to finish. This class is perfect for those who are complete beginners or have a few simple sewing projects under their belts and would like to learn more. Prior students are also welcome! Open Sewing Studio! — Every Second Monday of the Month Starting September 14

Stuck on a sewing project and need some guidance or motivation? Come to the Open Sewing Studio every second Monday of the month to work alongside other sewing enthusiasts! Hosted by NRAS sewing instructor Olivia Harvey, you’ll be able to ask questions and receive assistance, if desired, to help fine-tune your skills. Bring any project, your sewing machine, and the supplies you need, and let’s get sewing! Space is limited, so please register to reserve a table.
DIY Your Denim — October 7

Breathe new life into your denim!
Join us at House Cat to give your favorite jeans or denim jacket an entirely new personality! In this workshop led by Olivia from OH Pleeze, you’ll learn a few basic hand-sewing techniques and use decorative fabrics and stitching to embellish your clothes and make them totally one-of-a-kind. No prior sewing experience is needed. Just bring your denim and your imagination!
